Not withstanding the minutes of awkwardly holding up a queue while waiting for the app to connect to the NUS network, the app now requires the installation of the TraceTogether app, regardless of whether one uses the physical token or not. The app does not even check that the TraceTogether app is activated. How iOS is not sandboxing apps from each other, or how this app is allowed to look outside its sandbox is another issue.This app now also requires access to Bluetooth, because not only does it require TraceTogether installed, it wants to replicate its function. It would be great if NUS would take care of battery wear if they want one’s device to do more for them.It is hoped no more complications are added to this app. It was good enough initially, without it being a do everything app.
